My personal journey goes way back to when I was only 17-year-old. I was mesmerized by the exquisite world of five-star hotels and fine dining establishments at large. That’s when I was introduced to the Industry of Hospitality.
Addition to acquiring Post Graduate Diploma in Hospitality Management from Starwood School. I also possess certificate in Cross Management Training (Sales & Marketing) and Food & Beverage, Universita del Caffe (Illy) Italy Barista Certified, Emotional Intelligence, Starwood certified BWCB, Hotel Executive Program & Smart Serve and also trained WSET – Level II.
I’ve done my Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma, and also certified in Data Analytics, Advanced food safety training and also Smart Serve.
In 15 years of Hospitality experience, I have managed operations of full service as well as select-service properties in almost every sector of the Hospitality business across various Food & Beverage segments.
Started my career with Starwood Group (The Luxury Collection & Sheraton) and after 8 years of fruitful career in Starwood Hotels thought of trying new segment of Stand-alone restaurants for 6 years, exposing to the entrepreneurial way of life.
My restaurant experience has spanned from single unit to multi-unit responsibilities across various International cuisines, where I successfully implemented policies and procedures for optimum efficiency and internal controls. As a Senior Operations Manager, I took charge of new openings, renovation planning, asset management & rebranding before moving to Canada.
My first stint in Toronto, Canada with brand Hilton, where my commitment and desire to provide the ultimate customer experience is marked through my training skills and extensive Digital Marketing giving each property a competitive edge within each market.
Kiran started his career with Starwood hotels, after having graduated from one of the premier culinary institutes in India. He honed his skills as a Chef and learnt his trade from some of the best chefs, his hands-on approach and planning helped him grow from a Junior Sous Chef to Executive Chef heading a group of 26 restaurants.
Kiran has a passion for food and ingredients and is well versed with global cuisines and vegetarian food, and spends most of his time trying new dishes and restaurants. He is excited to share his expertise with the kitchen staff to create the best dining experience for students at Trinity College.
Echo is responsible for Student Engagement and will be part of our collaborative and transparent marketing team that concentrates on sharing best practices, measuring consumer trends, innovation, culinary excellence and sustainability. She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
As the District Marketing Manager, Echo designs and builds customized student engagement strategy and marketing solutions for Chartwells Food Service at Trinity College. She excels in bringing campaigns to market and her track record includes measuring impacts and providing strategic recommendations.
