Our team at the SFU Dining Commons is excited to welcome you on campus! Whether it’s your first time on campus, or you’re a returning student, we are here to make you feel at home and ensure that all of your culinary needs are taken care of!
Everyone is welcome at the Dining Commons, including students not on a meal plan, friends and family, community patrons, staff, faculty and campus guests. If you're not on a meal plan you simply pay the door rate and you're welcome to dine with us any day of the week.
Children 4-8 years old eat for half price. Children 3 years old and under eat for free with accompanying paying adult.
Celiac? Not a problem, we have tons of items made without gluten for you. Please ask a member of our management team for more support!
Religious dietary needs? We’ve got you covered. Our menu has halal and pork free options daily, we have meals available to go during Ramadan and we celebrate many local and international holidays throughout the year. If there is a holiday or recipe you would like us to execute, e-mail our Dining Commons team with your request and we will do our best to serve it on the menu.
Plant forward diet? Our team celebrates vegetables and legumes and we work hard to ensure they are widely available during all meal services. If you have a favourite vegetable or plant-forward dish you would like us to prepare simply ask!
Vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, soy free, nut free, other… the community at SFU has a wide variety of allergen and dietary restrictions/preferences. Our team at the SFU Dining Commons is comprised of professionals who understand these needs, and know how important is to ensure our students can focus on their studies and not worry about whether or not they will be able to eat something without feeling ill.
